Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Drive North of Uganda 

Early breakfast at your hotel of residence then drives to the north passing through towns like Luweero where you will be able to see the luwero triangle and you will be told of its history, Kigumba, Bweyale, Kamudini, and Gulu. You will have lunch along the way and then drive on to Kitgum town where you will have dinner and rest as you prepare to enter kidepo valley the following day.

Day 2: A Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park

Wake early, eat breakfast and drive from Kitgum town to the most silent and rarely visited park though highly bio-diversified Kidepo Valley national park. We will drive and go through the “Karamajongs”one of the tribal communities and cattle-keeping people .then also check out their traditional way of life. You will then enter the park through the Katurum gate in midmorning and see a number of animals like; striped and spotted hyena, the greater and lesser Kudu, Jackson’s hartebeest, Oribis plus more others as you reach the Apoka Tourism Information Centre for your lunch meal, followed by an afternoon game drive before settling into the available lodge reserved at for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Explore Kidepo Valleys Wildlife

After breakfast in the morning head for a game drive in the wild to see the early risers, you will drive to Kanangorok hot spring and the Narus Valley, these tracks support animals like elephants, Cape buffaloes, Rothchild’s, Giraffes, Burchell’s Zebras, Cheaters, Lions, Leopards, Guenther’s Dik diks, Common Elands, Bohor reedbucks and Birds species like the Giant Ostrich, Bustards, Secretary birds, Karamoja Apalis plus many more. Following lunch is proceeding to Karenna and Kadepo to view and enjoy the cultural performances by the native Karamajong people. You will then be served dinner and sleep.

Day 4: Kidepo Valley and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park 

Having had breakfast you will then set off early enough to head to Murchison falls national park through pakwach, the drive will see you through kitgum and then gulu where you will stop for your lunch meal. There after check into the hotel dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Explore Murchison Falls National Park

You will eat breakfast and then head for the drive through the northern bank of River Nile entering the park by Tangi gate. The park is covered with Borasses palms, acacia species which is food to elephants and Roth Child’s Giraffes, while on the game drive you will be insight of the elephants, savanna buffaloes, Harte beests, and Uganda kobs, Birds species like African hoopoes, Martial eagles, White backed and Griffon’s vultures. Leopards can be seen close to the delta at which river Nile enters into the Lake Albert. You will also not ot miss the numerous semi- aquatic hippos found at the place where they rest from after they’ve grazed. Back to lodge dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 6: End of Uganda Tour

Have breakfast then head back to Kampala city passing through masindi town with a stop at the Rhino sanctuary, where you will spend little time then have lunch along the way. Arrival in the late evening to Kampala drop at the hotel or airport.
